Our 2nd annual Art Gala was held Saturday March 24, 2007. Seven very talented local artists participated to help raise money for PediPlace.
Over 200 people attended the 2nd Annual Art Gala at Cloud 9 Salon and Spa on Saturday evening, March 24, and everyone enjoyed an evening of wine, food and fun--not to mention the spectacular art!
Seven local artists displayed their talents, ranging from sculpture and metalsmithing to acrylics and ceramics to watercolors.
As party goers were led by the outside light display provided by M-2 Productions, they continued up the driveway where they enjoyed the convenience of valet parking before entering the transformed salon. Upon entering, it was a sight to behold! Morris Salerno of The Grotto was there to provide a splendid array of mouth-watering appetizers and the wine and champagne complemented the delicious food. Colleen Drew of Colleen G. Drew Photography clicked away while guests browsed and enjoyed the art displays.
Most important, the guests were generous and opened their hearts and checkbooks for PediPlace, a nonprofit that provides health care for children 0-18 years of age. The money raised will be used to continue to provide these services to over 6,000 children in this area who would otherwise not receive medical care.
