Cloud 9 Salon and Spa opened in 1991 and has undergone three expansions since opening. Cloud 9 is now located in a beautiful 8,000 square-foot salon, spa and wellness center nestled in Flower Mound, Texas. The concept blends the high energy of a Salon downstairs with the serenity of a Spa upstairs.
The original Cloud 9 Salon and Spa was only 800 square feet and housed only 8 stylists. With the tremendous growth over the past 15 years many talented and educated professionals have joined the team at Cloud 9 Salon and Spa.
Cloud 9 Salon and Spa offers spa treatments that are typically only found in destination spas. With a team of over 60 full time professionals, from hair stylists and colorists to massage therapists, nail technicians, estheticians, managers, and salon coordinators, Cloud 9 provides you with the highest quality of hair, nail and body care services available in North Texas.
Kim Cloud, owner and stylist of Cloud 9 Salon and Spa, has been in the business since 1984. Robbie Meeks, the Salon Manager, has been running things since 1997 ensuring everything works smoothly and the salon staff are happy. She will always greet you with a smile and ensure you are satisfied with the services at the salon.
The people of Denton County consistently vote Cloud 9 Salon and Spa the # 1 salon. Salon Today magazine has recognized Cloud 9 Salon and Spa as one of the Top 200 fastest growing salons in the nation. The new location has been acknowledged by Nail Pro magazine as one of the most beautifully decorated salons in the nation.
Kim and the salon team are busy in the community holding numerous fundraisers for nonprofit organizations each year. Fundraising events for charities include the annual New York Style Fashion Show, Kidd's Kids Salon-a-Thon and the annual Art Gala. The monies from these events help send terminally ill children to Disney World and provides charities funding allowing children to celebrate Christmas, seek medical attention, and prepare for school. Kim also serves on the Board of Directors for The Sue Weaver CAUSE, which is a non-profit agency that is bringing awareness to unsafe service workers being in our homes. Kim is also proud to serve on the Lewisville Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and the PediPlace Board of Directors.
